In Japan, the population is aging rapidly as same as other advanced countries.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the elderly population; over 65 years old age, is about 35million people, Japanese aging rate rise to 30% last year. That means one out of three to four persons is a senior citizen.
After the World War Ⅱ, with the collapse of the family system and the trend toward the nuclear family being in progress, and senior sitizens who live alone are increasing.
There are many nursing care from the private sector for-profit using service in Japan, but the cost is high, besides, generally speaking, the elderly people of today tend to not to want to receive help by a stranger. Therefore, the family have to take care of their parents and Grand-parents.
Mainly, the wives care for them, but most of the wives have to work, it's difficult to keep balancing work and nursing.
